All 1F pupils are to be in their school uniforms for their bus concession card photo-taking session on 20 February 2014, Thursday which will be conducted during the curriculum time.

There will not be any recess. Pupils taking daily school transport will have the usual transport arrangement from home to school and back home. Please make the necessary transport arrangement for your child, if applicable.

Dear 1F Parents
Happy Lunar New Year! Please remind your child to bring his/her thermometer to school every day as he/she may use it to measure his/her temperature in the event he/she is sick. Do ensure that the thermometer is working too.
There are three special dates that you would need to take note of.
1. PAL consisting of 3 modules will be conducted for Primary 1 pupils during the last 4 periods of every Friday with effect from 7 February 2014. Each module will last for 7 weeks. Your child is required to report to school at 10 am every Friday for 2 hours of lessons in the morning. He/She will be dismissed for lunch in the canteen at 12 noon, after which the afternoon mass activities in the hall will begin at 12.45p.m.
For parents who wish to make school bus transport arrangement for your children, we have attached the bus routes and respective rates obtained from the bus drivers for your reference. Please complete and return the transport arrangement form attached to your child’s form teacher by Tuesday, 28 January 2014. The school will facilitate by collecting and handing the form over to the bus company’s personnel in charge, Mr Edmund Choy, who will follow-up with you. For queries on transport arrangement, please contact Mr Edmund Choy.

3. Annual Sports Meet for Primary 4, 5 and 6 pupils on 14 February 2014
We will be holding our school’s Annual Sports Meet for the Primary 4, 5 and 6 pupils on Friday, 14 February 2014.
Hence, Primary 1, 2 and 3 pupils are not required to report to school on this day. They will have their Lower Primary Sports Day cum Nature Walk on 27 March 2014. More details on the Lower Primary Sports Day cum Nature Walk will be provided at a later date.
Lessons will resume for all on Monday, 17 February 2014. Please ensure that your child report to school at the usual time.

Lunar New Year Holidays

Alumni Reunion Dinner
The Lunar New Year Alumni Reunion Dinner will be held on the 5th day of the Lunar New Year (4 February 2014, Tuesday). Cocktail will commence at 6.30 pm and dinner at 7.30 pm. Hence, the Primary 1 and 2 pupils in the PM session will be dismissed at 5.20 pm on that day. Bus transportation will be provided as per normal that day. Please make the necessary transport arrangement if it is applicable to your child.
Miscellaneous Matters
Do sign and check your child's spelling book weekly. An email has been sent to all 1F parents who have given to me their email addresses in the pupil particulars' form 2014.
